Browning has built yet another capable and affordable trail camera in the form of the Strike Force HD APEX. It offers an ample 18 megapixel still image maximum resolution, as well as video recording at up to 900p, which in combination should supply users with all the detail and clarity they need.
As with a lot of other trail cameras, it comes with infrared LEDs upfront which can activate after dark, triggering illumination which is invisible to the naked eye but allows for brilliant photos and videos to be shot without alerting subjects as to the presence of the camera. For both surveillance and wildlife monitoring, this is clearly a positive asset.
There is no colour display on the Strike Force HD APEX, unlike on some of Browning’s higher-end trail camera models, but you can still control it, make adjustments and check up on its status using the integrated monochrome screen, accompanied by intuitive interface buttons.
You should be able to rely on this trail camera to keep working tirelessly for you for a long time thanks to its power saving shooting modes, its compatibility with 512GB capacity memory cards and the fact that it can take power either from AA batteries or from a 12 volt jack as necessary.
