There are many reasons as to why you might fall in love with a camera trap. It could be the excellent video quality that it offers. It could be the crisp, clear still photographs that it captures. It could be the durability of the design which allows it to survive months of exposure to the harshest weather conditions that the UK’s climate might throw at it. It could be the price, especially if it fits your budget and brings you a good balance of features without forcing you to make compromises.

Sometimes, of course, you might simply appreciate a camera trap because it comes from a brand you know and trust, with a solid support infrastructure behind it so you know that if something goes wrong, it can be remedied easily.

All of these reasons and many more may lie behind your preference for a particular trail camera. Of course, unless you have fairly significant experience with this type of technology, you are unlikely to be in a position to choose a favourite. Thankfully selling camera traps is what we do best, which is why we have some views as to our own favourites, with our knowledge and expertise in the market underpinning the recommendations we make.

Of course in this fast-paced market, there is always room for a previous favourite to be dislodged by a newcomer or a rival device. Because of this, we tend to keep our list of favourite camera traps updated on a regular basis to reflect any significant changes that may have occurred.

Why not take a look at our favourite trail cameras below and use our recommendations in order to identify the product that will be able to meet and exceed your expectations.
